What is Love Bites?
Love Bites is an extremely successful school-based Domestic and Family Violence and Sexual Assault prevention program. It is based on best practice standards for education programs as recommended by leading academics in the area of violence against women, and fits within the PDHPE high school curriculum in NSW. The program consists of interactive education workshops on Domestic and Family Violence and Sexual Assault, followed by a creative workshop that consolidates the information from the morning sessions. The output of these sessions is artwork created by students that communicates their learnings from the session about healthy relationships, domestic abuse and sexual assault. It is a selection of this artwork that is showcased in this art exhibition.
